1- Various plastics, especially the Urea-formaldehyde resins
2- Various adhesives, such as Urea-formaldehyde or the urea-melamine-formaldehyde used in marine plywood
3- Potassium cyanate, another industrial feedstock
4- Urea nitrate, an explosive
